Who we are

This is the corporate website for Iberdrola Distribución Eléctrica, S.A.U., a company belonging to the group of companies under Iberdrola, S.A., whose corporate purpose is exclusively to perform regulated activities involving management of the electricity distribution grid in the areas it operates in, strictly subject to the provisions for these regulated activities in Law 24/2013, of 26 December, on the Electrical Sector and in the Code for the Separation of Activities for companies in the Iberdrola Spain group with regulated activities.

By gaining access to the website www.iberdroladistribucion.es/home, you become a USER and, as a USER, express full acceptance without reservations to all and each one of the present TERMS OF USE, notwithstanding the particular terms and conditions that may become applicable should the USER seek to enter into an electricity contract.

The website www.iberdroladistribucion.es/home provides the USER with various amounts of information posted by Iberdrola Distribución or third-party service providers. The Portal service is offered free of charge. However, Iberdrola Distribución reserves the right to condition access to some services on prior USER registration through completion of a User Registration Form, which is available to anyone who wishes to become as a REGISTERED USER.

Registration in the services as a registered user

To access certain services, you must be a REGISTERED USER of www.iberdroladistribucion.es/home. The data entered in the Registration Form are given freely and voluntarily, though they should nevertheless be true and realistic.

In the event of any discrepancy or conflict in connection with the interpretation or application of these Terms of Use or the website's content, in general, Iberdrola Distribución and the USER expressly waive any other venue and submit to the jurisdiction of the courts of justice of the USER's place of residence. Should the USER reside outside Spain, Iberdrola Distribución and the USER expressly waive any other venue and submit to the jurisdiction of the courts of justice of the city of Bilbao.

Privacy Policy

Iberdrola Distribución Eléctrica, S.A.U. is committed to protecting your privacy and guarantees compliance with personal data protection legislation.

And specifically, that your personal information will be processed:

  • in a lawful, fair and transparent manner;
  • in accordance with certain explicit and legitimate ends;
  • only if it is appropriate, relevant and limited to what is necessary in relation to its processing;

The legal basis for the treatment of your data is the contractual relationship you have with Iberdrola Distribución and, in the absence of the latter, the legitimate interest that Iberdrola Distribución has in attending to your inquiry.

How long will we keep your data?

We will keep your data during the term of your third party access contract to the grid, and for the time necessary to comply with the legal custody of information obligations.

Notwithstanding the foregoing, the personal data provided may be kept duly blocked for any length of time as may be required by applicable regulation.

What are your rights?

You have the right to:

  • Access your personal data subject to processing,
  • request the correction of inaccurate data or,
  • if appropriate, request its deletion when the information is no longer necessary for the purposes for which it was collected,
  • in addition to exercising your right of opposition and limitation of its processing,
  • the portability of the data, as explained in the additional information.
